The Local Area
near Pendine Sands Holiday Park
In stunning countryside location with a glorious beach overlooked by dramatic headland, Pendine Sands Holiday Park is an amazing location for a family holiday. With breathtaking views as far as the eye can see, it is the perfect base for exploring Carmarthenshire, Pembrokeshire and all that the area has to offer.
The park is just a short walk from a beautiful stretch of beach where the land speed record has been broken four times. Most recently in May 2015, the award-winning actor Idris Elba broke the record for the 'Flying Mile' originally set by Malcolm Campbell. Not surprisingly, Pendine Sands has also been a filming location for the BBC series Top Gear.
The park is also just a short drive from some great attractions that the whole family will love including museums, castles, zoos and wildlife parks.
