Location
A Guide to Kynance Cove
Just a short drive away from Lizard Point, located on the west side of the peninsula, is the stunning Kynance Cove where you'll find a beautiful beach. Enjoy the turquoise water and the white sand at this unique cove which is just a 15 minute walk from a car park.
At low tide, explore the ancient caves and rock formations before heading to the Kynance Cove Beach Café for a bite to eat. This cafe has been there for over 100 years and offers delightful cream team, Cornish pasties and crab sandwiches.
The cove is very popular to visitors and has even been featured in an episode of Poldark. Enjoy a scenic coastal dog walk from Lizard Point and a dip in the clear waters. Although there is a seasonal dog ban, off season you can enjoy a quieter Kynance Cove with your four-legged friend.
